Jim Satten, Mitch Margold & Denny McDermott is a trio that plays jazz standards in the traditional organ setting. These are three seasoned musicians that are veterans of the NewYork City music scene. JMD plays in a jazz format that also draws upon their influences of Rock, R&B, and of course the Blues.
Jim Satten has played & recorded with Bo Diddley (14 years), Mick Taylor, Sam & Dave, Ben E. King, Ronnie Wood, Ronnie Spector, and the Temptations.
Denny McDermott has recorded and/or toured with Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald, Marc Cohen,
Rosanne Cash, Graham Parker, Shawn Colvin, Boz Scaggs, Richard Shindell, Carol King, & Leni Stern.
Mitch Margold’s credits include Otis Rush, Toots and the Maytals, Cornell Dupree, and Evelyn “Champange” King.
